Collecting the photos of a family gathering

A family reunion, a golden wedding anniversary, a great-grandmother's 90th: these gatherings bring together people who almost never meet. Everyone leaves with their own photos, and nobody has the whole picture. Here is how to gather everything, whatever each person's age or phone.

One album instead of ten group chats

In a large family, no group chat includes everyone, and photos travel through them compressed. With Entourage, everyone scans a QR code: the page opens in the browser, with no app and no account, and photos and videos land in a single album, in their original quality.

Before the gathering: create and announce the album

Create the album on the album creation page. Only the name is required: "Durand family reunion 2026". The date triggers a reminder to print the poster two days before; your email sends you the link to your host space.
Announce it in the invitation, with the link or the QR code, and ask everyone for a few old photos. A paper print can be photographed with a phone and joins the album like any other.
Print the A4 poster, or download the QR code alone as a high-resolution PNG for the menu or the seating plan.

Every generation, one simple gesture

One "ambassador" per table, often a teenager, helps the elders scan and pick their photos.
Nothing to install: no app, no account, no password.
The first name is optional, but "Photo sent by Aunt Odile" makes the gallery livelier.
Weak signal? Uploads resume on their own, without duplicates.
Videos are welcome, up to 512 MB per file.

The slideshow at the heart of the gathering

Set up a TV or a projector somewhere visible and open the slideshow from your host space. The old photos sent before the gathering open it, then the day's photos join on their own within seconds. Pause it during a speech; videos play without sound. Included in every plan, the free one too: see the guide to the live slideshow.

For a golden wedding, the Complete plan adds the guestbook (up to 2000 characters, text only) and the message wall, whose 140-character notes scroll in a banner below the photos.

Which plan, and after the gathering

Discovery (€0): 20 visible media, 14 days of hosting included.
Essential (€19, one-off): unlimited media, export of the originals to Google Photos or Apple Photos.
Complete (€79, one-off): guestbook, message wall, HD archive and one year of hosting, so everyone can come back to the gallery during the year.

Afterwards, send the gallery link to the whole family, or prepare the HD archive (Complete plan) to copy onto a USB stick for the elders. The guestbook is not in it: it is read on its own page. Is an account needed?

No, neither for guests nor to create the album. An account is optional and lets you find your albums.

Are the photos safe?

They are hosted by OVHcloud in France and never leave the European Union. The album is never indexed by search engines. See album privacy.
