Terms of use
This is a translation. Only the French version of these terms is legally binding. Should this English text and the French text differ in any way, the French text prevails.
Purpose
Entourage lets the host of an event create an album to which their guests add photos and videos, with no app to install and no account to create. The service is published by One Hour Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Mauritius (BRN C26236235), whose registered office is Domaine Victoria, V2, Sottise Road, Grand Baie, Mauritius; details are in the legal notice.
What you entrust to us
By sending a file, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You remain its owner: we acquire no rights over it beyond storing it and displaying it to the people at the event, so as to provide you with the service.
What is not allowed
Unlawful, hateful or pornographic content is prohibited, as is content that infringes a third party's privacy or someone else's copyright. A reported album may be suspended without notice.
Content moderation
To protect guests, Entourage may submit photo thumbnails and still frames extracted from videos to Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch, and the text of guest messages to OpenAI's Moderations API. These tools classify content; they are not used to enhance it or to train a model with it.
Depending on the level of risk, content may be published, withheld or queued for human review. An automated classification can be wrong and does not replace the host's responsibility. The author or host may ask for a classification to be reviewed at contact@entourage.photos. Details of what is sent to both providers and how it is kept are set out in the privacy policy.
The host's responsibility
The host is responsible for their album's link and QR code: anyone holding them can send photos. It is for the host to circulate them to their guests only, and to moderate their album.
Availability and backups
We do everything we can to keep the service available, without being able to guarantee absolute continuity. A backup is replicated to a second private OVHcloud container in France, in a separate region; it does not replace your own copy. A complete archive is included with Complete, Pro and albums created before the current plans. Essential is designed to send originals to the host's chosen cloud; Discovery does not include a complete archive.
How long files are kept depends on the plan purchased; the details are in the privacy policy.
Photos kept aside
A Discovery album shows up to twenty photos or videos. Beyond that, guests' uploads are not refused: they are kept aside, visible to no one, up to three hundred items or five gigabytes. They only appear in the gallery, the slideshow, the archive or the export once the host moves to a paid plan, which unlocks them all. Each guest can still see and withdraw their own uploads.
Prices and payment
Current prices are displayed before any payment. Payments are processed by our partner Paddle, which acts as reseller and issues the invoice.
Codes and purchases from a partner
A code, offered by Entourage or handed out by a partner, moves an album to the plan it names. It works once, for a single album, and cannot be exchanged for money. A plan obtained this way follows the same rules as if it had been bought, retention period included. As no payment was made to us for it, it does not open the refund described below.
An item bought from a partner, for instance a poster template from the EntouragePhotos shop on Etsy, is sold by that partner, under its own terms and those of the platform: the order and any refund of it are handled with that partner. The Entourage service itself remains governed by these terms.
Pro subscription
The Pro plan is a subscription, monthly or yearly, attached to your account and covering all its albums. It renews automatically at each due date, at the price displayed when you subscribed; Paddle collects the payment.
No commitment. You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, from "Your Pro subscription" in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: you keep Pro until then, and nothing is charged afterwards.
14-day trial. A first subscription can start with a free 14-day trial, one per account. Your payment method is saved at the start and nothing is charged during the trial; the first charge happens when it ends, at the price of the chosen billing, and the subscription then follows the rules below. We remind you by email three days before that charge. Cancel before the trial ends to pay nothing: each album then goes back to the plan it had before the trial, and albums created during the trial keep their gallery for 14 days, like a Discovery album. The year of hosting described below only applies to a paid subscription.
When the subscription ends, your albums stay online for one year from that end, with what the Complete plan includes. Your brand disappears from their pages and you can no longer create new albums. The studio address printed on your posters keeps leading to your albums.
If a payment fails, Paddle retries it for a few days and Pro remains active during those retries; if they do not succeed, the subscription ends as described above.
Refunds. The fourteen-day right of withdrawal described below applies to the first payment of the subscription, and we do not ask you to waive it. A renewal is not refunded once the new period has started: to avoid being charged, cancel before the due date.
Withdrawal and refunds
The rules below apply to one-off plans, Essential and Complete. The Pro subscription follows the previous section, and the right of withdrawal below.
Our commitment: refunded for as long as the album has not been used. You are refunded in full, with no need to justify yourself, for as long as none of these three things has happened:
- a guest has sent a first photo or video to the album;
- you have downloaded the complete archive;
- an export to your own storage space has started.
This commitment is not limited in time. You may buy months before your event, change your mind the day before, and be refunded. One address only: contact@entourage.photos. The refund is carried out by Paddle to the original payment method, within fourteen days.
Once one of those three things has happened, the album has produced what it was bought for, and the payment is no longer refundable under this commitment. The reason is simple: the value of an event album is delivered on the day of the event, not over months of hosting. It is the first photo received, the archive downloaded or the export started that mark that moment — not the passing of time.
Your statutory rights, in addition. If you live in the European Union, you have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal from the date of payment. The law would allow us to ask you to waive it, this being a digital service supplied immediately: we do not. If you exercise that right after the album has begun to serve its purpose, the law provides that you pay us for the part of the service already supplied; we measure that proportion according to the principle set out above.
These rules in no way reduce the rights you hold under the mandatory provisions of your country of residence. Paddle, which collects payments as the seller of record, may also grant a refund on its own initiative.
If the service fails you. If the service is unavailable through our fault during your event, write to us: we refund, with no condition as to use or elapsed time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Mauritius. Consumers in the European Union retain the benefit of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
