After the event: collect, export and keep the photos
The party is over and the album is full. Three steps are left: close uploads at the right moment, sort, then bring the photos home.
Close uploads
Many guests go through their camera roll the next day, so wait a few days. An upload cut off by the venue network resumes on its own, without duplicates, as long as the album accepts uploads.
Then, in your host space settings, switch "Uploads" off. Guests see that uploads are over. It is reversible: reopen for a latecomer, then close again. Closing uploads does not close the gallery, which is a separate setting.
Sort
In "Soft" mode, doubtful photos wait in the review console: one card per item, "Publish" or "Discard", with the reason shown. Empty that queue before exporting: only approved media leave.
From the gallery you can also remove any item: a blurry duplicate, a picture a guest would regret. It disappears from the gallery and the slideshow at once.
Bring the photos home
Everything happens on the "Get your photos" screen. The originals are always what leave, in their original quality. The free Discovery plan includes neither export nor archive.
- Google Photos (Essential, Complete, Pro): sign in to the account that owns the album, authorise Google (add only: we cannot see your library), name the album, start the export. The name is fixed after the first send. Entourage creates its own album; the photos also land in your main library. "Resume sending" picks up where it stopped.
- Apple Photos (Essential, Complete, Pro): Apple offers no server access, so the transfer runs from your iPhone. Install the iOS Shortcut once; it reads a link valid for 7 days and saves the originals into the Photos app. On a computer, a QR code opens the screen on your iPhone.
- HD archive (Complete, Pro): "Prepare the archive" builds a zip in the background and an email tells you when it is ready. Parts of about 1 GB, resumable download, links valid for 7 days. It holds the approved originals and the message wall, but not the guestbook.
Once the export has started, photos that arrive afterwards go to the same album on their own, as soon as they are published. No need to start it again.
Is your album on Discovery? Move up from the settings, even after the event: Essential (€19 once) for the export, Complete (€79 once) to add the HD archive. Details are on the pricing table.
Share the gallery
The gallery is open to guests by default. Post the guest link again in the group chat: everyone finds the others' photos. To keep them to yourself, close the gallery: each guest then only sees their own uploads. See Who sees the photos.
What happens to the album
Each plan includes a hosting period: 14 days on Discovery, our copies for 7 days after closing on Essential, one year on Complete, as long as the subscription runs on Pro. Do not wait for the end to export. To delete a whole album, write to contact@entourage.photos.
A paid plan is refunded in full as long as the album has not been used: no photo received, no archive downloaded, no export started. See the terms.
No event yet? Read the guide to prepare the album, then create your album.
